We hope everyone had a relaxing Easter break.
In the summer months we have got so much learning to get through!
In maths, we will be learning how to tell the time and how to answer time interval problems. We will also be solving problems based around money.
In English, we will be writing our own adventurous quest stories and reading more incredible life stories from Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls.
In RE, we are studying Islam and we are taking a trip to a local mosque on Thursday 3rd of May. More information about this trip will be distributed soon!
In Science, we are classifying animals based on their features. We will be studying the different habitats animals live in.
In Topic, we will be continuing with Manchester. We will be studying the life and work of LS Lowry. After this, we will be learning all about the almighty Romans!
In music, we will be receiving singing lessons from Miss Platt from Droylsden Academy.
In PE, with Mr Ellis, we are doing tennis!
We will be having French and computing lessons from our new PPA teacher Mrs Buckley.
We look forward to a fun filled summer term with lots of new learning opportunities!
Rock Around the Clock!
This half term we are learning to tell the time on analogue and digital clocks. We will also be learning how to read train and bus timetables. These are key skills in life and it is really important for children to try and wear a watch to school.
