Play Leaders

Let us introduce to you our Fairfield Road Playground Leaders! 

These are conscientious, hard-working children who give up their lunchtimes very regularly to help support other children.

Their role as Playground Leader encompasses the following:

• to bring out play equipment for other children and help them to play with it
• to look after the play equipment and put it away and the end of lunch
• to ensure no children are left alone at lunchtimes and are invited to join in a game
• to help organise fun games for the younger children to play such as ‘duck, duck, goose’
• to reward children for good play habits

Thanks to our fabulous Playground Leaders, our lunchtimes are now unbelievably more fun and full of activities!

We are incredibly lucky to have such caring, committed and considerate children at Fairfield Road Primary School.
